ScoreVision Debuts its Volleyball App at the Asics Presidents Day Classic Volleyball Tournament

Published Feb 16, 2016, 03:44 am

The Asics Presidents Day Classic is one of the Midwest’s largest volleyball tournaments with 380 plus teams competing in 12 divisions. This year THE MARK in Elkhorn, Nebraska was selected as one of the 3 venues in the are to host matches for the three-day event. Omaha’s Century Link Convention Center and Nebraska Elite Sports & Fitness Center were the two other locations providing courts for the occasion.

THE MARK can boast as being the only facility of the three that utilizes an all-digital volleyball scoring and display solution for each of their four courts. THE MARK was an early adopter of the ScoreVision scoreboard system and has utilized it to score hundreds of youth basketball games since June 2015. This past weekend, THE MARK was the first facility to leverage the newest upgrade to the ScoreVision system, a fully-custom volleyball scoring tool and scoreboard display.

The system was extremely well received by players, coaches, referees and fans alike. While the other two venues used the old-fashioned flip cards to keep score on all of their courts, the fully-visible scoreboards -- that could be seen by all -- really set THE MARK apart.
