ScoreVision Systems Enhance Student Curriculums
ScoreVision’s multimedia displays are a great investment in both academics and athletics. The system not only enhances the game-time experience for players and fans, it also provides students with educational opportunities in multiple curriculums.
Walker Hackensack Akeley High School in Walker, Minnesota has been fully utilizing their digital displays' educational benefits.
“We have students in the computer lab cropping photos, editing videos and managing advertisement layouts… and at the end of the day I can review their work and if it’s good then that's what ends up on the ScoreVision [display],” says Brian Marcus, WHA Athletic Director and Assistant Principal.
The school’s business and technology classes have both leveraged the ScoreVision system within their classrooms. This has provided a great opportunity for the students to create content to be viewed on the displays by fellow classmates, faculty and the community. The professional-grade production elements have given them an excellent learning tool to prepare for college courses and career development.
Schools all over the country have been implementing ScoreVision software in their classrooms. To hear more from the AD at Walker Hackensack Akeley High School click here to watch a short video.
